  • My Writing Projects: New Book Series and Other Updates

    · By Teresita Blanco

After the Sacred Mask 5, I am going to write two volumes for the Lover’s Pentacle. The Lover’s Pentacle work better as sets of duologies. Though, inside, the books are also divided in two different seasons. There is a soft ending in chapter five. I am also going to start a new fantasy series. I also have some prequels for the Sacred Mask planned. I have the skeleton of those prequels, but I want to finish my current projects before starting anything new.

I wanted to give you a progress report of my books. I am almost halfway done with my Sacred Mask 5 book. If you are an Amazon Kindle Reader, you are getting the Sacred Mask 5. If you are a Barnes and Noble Nook reader, you are getting the Sacred Mask 10, 11 and 12. I like to give Barnes and Nobles my books in shorter editions.

I also need to design the new front cover.

The fourth book of Scary Cat is in its final stage. It is probably going to be published in the month of February. In this book, Pipa explores a spooky house with her friends. The drawings for the book are all completed. They need to be shrunk to the right size for the printer. Afterwards, I need to add the dialogue to the book. The front cover has already been designed. I hope you look forward to my newest kid’s book.

You can read the same sentence over and over, and not notice the problem. Reading it out loud, helps you notice problems. As a rule of thumb, I am always trying to trim the...

  • How Are My Works Progressing?

    · By Teresita Blanco

I have two new book concepts in the back of my mind. One is a new fantasy series and the other is a horror book that takes place in Colonial Cuba. It seemed like a proper setting to do something creepy, and mystic. Of my current writing project, the lover’s is about 60 percent done. It will probably get done around December, depending on how much I can get done each day. In Total, I have written 90 pages or 46,000 I am aiming for the 75,000 word count mark, but the book could end up being a little over...
